32CDV13, 32CrMoV12-9, 1.8522 - specification and applications

Structural steel with good hardening properties for nitriding used in the production of components requiring high impact resistance, fatigue, ductility and hardness in the aerospace and machinery industries.

The 32CrMoV12-9 grade is mainly used in the manufacture of heavy-duty machine parts such as rings, bearings, axles, crankshafts, flanges, aircraft parts, cogwheels, and gears. Correctly selected chemical composition allows the work of components to temperatures up to 400 ℃.

    • Tensile strength, Rm: 1050 - 1250 MPa

  • Delivery condition +QT - dimensions 100 - 160mm
    • Tensile strength, Rm: 950 - 1150 MPa

Thermal treatment of 32CrMoV12-9, 1.8522 - processes and temperatures:

  • Softening annealing is carried out at a temperature of 680 - 720℃
  • Hardening in oil or water at 870 - 970℃
  • Tempering at 580 - 700℃
  • Nitriding of surface is carried out in the range 480 - 570℃
