20NiCrMo2-2, 1.6523 - specification and applications

20HNM steel is a structural alloy steel from a group of carbonaceous materials that is used as a semi-finished product for heavy-duty component, subject to varying loads, high pressures and impacts, requiring high core strength and hard surface.

20HNM materials are intended for components and subassemblies of agricultural vehicles, motor vehicles and machinery for components such as cogwheels, bolts, bearings, shafts working at high speeds, pins or disc wheels.

Products of this grade are supplied in the form of hot rolled bars, forged bars, forgings, rings, and wires. 20HNMA steel according to PN-H-93028, is also used for the production of chain links.

General mechanical properties of 20NiCrMo2-2 steel and its equivalents
