1.4510, X3CrTi17, 0H17T, AISI 430Ti – description
1.4510 is used for household appliances, sink bowls, dryers. In industry it is used for equipment for the production and transport of nitric acid, pipes, steam superheaters and boilers for sugar refineries.
1.4511 is intended for equipment parts exposed to weak acids.
0H17T is used for heat exchangers for hot oxides of nitrogen and hot nitric acid, for cisterns, for tanks transporting nitric acid and for household appliances.
Steel belongs to welding group 7.1 according to ISO. Weldability good for small cross-sections, limited for larger ones. Prior to welding, heating is recommended.
