High-carbon steel for ball bearings with higher hardenability than, for example, ŁH15, 100Cr6, for elements with a cross section of more than 30mm, for balls and bearing needles, roller bearing rings and discs, precision bearings and shafts. The steel is suitable for working at elevated temperatures and corrosive environment. It is characterized by high resistance to abrasion and tempering. It is hardened transverselly to a thickness of 50mm
