1.4910, X3CrNiMoBN17-13-3 - specifications and applications

High alloy, creep resistant steel with an austenitic structure with the addition of boron and nitrogen, the stainless equivalent of which is 1.4429 / 316LN. The addition of these elements increases heat resistance, creep resistance and grain growth. Steel is resistant to intergranular corrosion, some acids, chlorides and salts in low concentrations. It is characterized by good plasticity, impact resistance, excellent mechanical properties as for austenitic steel, and very good weldability. It is widely used in the power and chemical industry for parts of boilers, pressure vessels, installation elements, in the aerospace and automotive industries for the production of turbines and machine parts.
